Director Julian Benson is hosting 3-day auditions for his Student Film titled, "You Are Human".

Logline:
You are Human is a film detailing civil rights in the year 2169.

*Character Breakdowns*
[Tony] SUPPORTING. Early to mid 20s. Male. Tony is an extra terrestrial who was born and raised in Nashville. TN. Abused by his teachers as a child. Tony would grow up to become care free and a bit of a paradox as a terrorist. He frequently challenges authority and limitations. Even as an alien terrorist, he exhibits traits that are characteristic of humanity.

[Angie] SUPPORTING. Mid to late 20s. Female. Angie is our hero's only, and last friend. A hardboild reporter turned publicist.

[Prof. Lynch] SUPPORTING. Mid 40s to early 50s. Male. Adviser to the president on human and alien relations. Charismatic. Articulate. Very intelligent.

[Kimberly] Mid 40s. Female or Male. Dana/Dan Kimberly is a bigot, and the President of the United States.

[Young Tony] 9-12 years old. Male. Slim build.

[Teacher] Mid 40s to late 50s.Male or Female. Strong. Must have a great, deep, and/or voice.

I've had my eye on this little indie flick for a while. I always recognize it as that film with with all the production value going into it, but not a clue to what it's about. No idea what it's about or what it cost to make, but I am pretty excited to see it. Hope it comes to a local film fest or something. Hey guys! It's been almost a year since I've directed, produced, or donned the butcher coat. What have I been doing? Writing. A lot. I'm very pleased and excited to announce that I've been working on a Sci-Fi thriller that will be premiering in late spring of 2010.

Shooting begins in February.
